2. I remember very clearly my first pet sitting gig which was when I was 12 years old. I was hired to take care of my neighbor's yellow lab just down the street for $10 a visit. Looking back, that was good pay for a 12 year old!

After spending my high school years working as an assistant to horse trainers in this area I ended up meeting many people who hired me to care for their animals overnight at their homes. Through this work I have taken care of many unusual creatures including: 2 stubborn miniature burros, a police horse who bit its owners finger off, Macaw parrots that said good morning everyday, a cat the size of a small cougar and an Iguana that lived in a rock house!
6. I have years of experience as a professional horse trainer and managed a barn of 20 horses for almost 10 years- overseeing the feeding, cleaning and care of these show horses for my self and my clients.

8. I am a native San Diegan and know how to get around our city efficiently- I know where most of the vet offices are in North County.
